We have been to Sydney, Adelaide (via Broken Hill) and Perth, Australia. Visit our diary for details, or get a glimpse of each place right here (below the map.)

What a country. Sunshine, natural beauty, friendly people and all manner of dangerous animals, terrain and bugs. All that notwithstanding, a fabulous place to visit. I highly recommend Perth in the Autumn (May, June & July)!

The most spectacular place we've been in Western Australia is the Rainbow Coast. It's the Southern Coast of Western Australia from Walpole in the west to Denmark and Albany in the East.

Perth, Western Australia
We love Perth. A beautiful new city borne out of the furthest reaches of Australia. Close to SE Asia, business is booming. The pleasant atmosphere (temperature) combined with the friendly, outgoing people creates a haven in this sometimes chaotic world. See our Visit.

Sydney

Isn't Lisa a great Photographer!Lisa took this photograph off the back of a ferry. Isn't it amazing?

Sydney. Where to start? It really is an amazing place. Full of Australians ya know! Really top people the Auzzies. Incredibly energetic and friendly, with a zest for life!

The most wonderful thing about Sydney is the way it is situated. I have never been to a city like it (so far). It is spread out around a large coastal inlet so half of the travel is water based. Ferries of all sizes and shapes shooting here and there amongst the tall buildings lining the harbour. We stayed in Manly, which meant we had a 30 minute ferry ride into the city straight past the Opera House. Spectacular. . . . hear more

Adelaide

St Patrick's Day - AdelaideCity of Churches. Adelaide.

It certainly is a peaceful city. We spent St Patrick's Day here, and unfortunately could only stay the day. Someday we will return. This is a photograph of the St Patrick's Day Street party we joined into. Hooray for the Irish? Australians? Whoever. . . . hear more
