Around the World again...for another celebration...

A trip for the Clarks has now been scheduled for early 2005.

I can imagine your reaction.

You may be thinking, "They're going on
A N O T H E R trip??"

Yes.

Around we go again. >>>>>

Why this trip?

We got some news from my brother Tom...

He and his girlfriend Amanda are getting married!

Their wedding is happening on the 28th of May, 2005, New York, USA. HURRAY!!

They have a web-page with all their info on it. If you want to check out more about them, click here: Tom and Amanda's Page

As you may already know, our 2004RTW trip was spurred by the marriage of Russell (Lisa's brother) and Natasha in Barbados.

And as much as Tom and Amanda were sad to see us go, they will be glad to know that THEY are the reason we are coming BACK so soon.

It's amazing how things work, isn't it?
Autumn/Spring number 33

I notice that I have a different perception of things now.

One year has gone by, already.

So fast. So slow. So involved. So present.

It’s been a good year.

We had a baby boy!

Went around the world and visited our families!

Australia let us live here, as residents!

We started new and successful businesses!

It has been a good year.

I have made peace with myself and my world.

This year it is time the world makes peace with itself.

Almost one year!

He knows that I am his mother.

His face lights up at even the slightest glimpse of me.

It is the most wonderful feeling in the world.

He smiles and giggles and is so interested in the world. Filled with wonder.

I stare smiling at him as he sleeps in the bed. Poking out from under the cover I see the top of his stripy all in one with the words Peter Rabbit on the little cute front pocket .

He sleeps soundly with a precious innocent contented smile.

Devon, you are divine. I love you.

Your Mum.

(This photo on shows our "I love you" sign.)

Marriage - a wonderful gift.

Tom and Amanda are getting married in the state of New York.

What a wedding, two soul mates very much in love.

Congratulations you two, marriage is awesome.

You will just LOVE it!

And besides, DEVON will have so much FUN at the wedding!!!

Turning the Tide Together ~ by Shunyam Nirav
60 Seconds a Day Campaign

We want John Kerry as our next President. Give up focusing on George Bush. We don't have to agree with him or support him in any fashion. Instead, we have to turn our thoughts now to something greater. We have to do something unstoppable. In the legacy of Einstein and all great thinkers, we have to harness the power of our thoughts to get the outcome we desire in November.

Take the time to READ THIS, please.

Living a life from love and gratitude.

This month has been wonderful. It has been filled with friendship, both long standing and new.

It has been filled with love, our love for eachother and for Devon which extends out to everyone.

It has been filled with adventure, adventures closer to home...in our own garden! It has been filled with wonderment as we watch our little baby growing into a little boy.

He is truly a divine child. He loves his life too!

I am grateful in every moment for my life, and grateful for the people I have the pleasure of sharing it with.

A special note of gratitude for our beloved friend Vistara who supports us in all that we do (even running with me out into the rain for the laundry >>>)

To give you an example from a Tuesday in September.

It started with a delightful spring morning. The three of us walked to Manning Park (just 10 minutes walk away) and met our neighbours Aya and her son Crest & Rebecca and her sons Leon and Jessie.

The park is awesome, there is so much to do there.

The design is great for kids of all ages. (Manning Park).

On Tuesdays while E.J./Vibodha works, I go and spend this time with my girlfriends and all the children. It was lovely that this day we could go together.

it is wonderful to watch the kids interacting with each other... another realm of parenting begins........

Studio Lighting

One of the things I am grateful for is the technical knowledge and equipment to take professional photographic portraits.

It's all about light. The amount, distance, height, reflection of light.

And having Studio lights makes all the difference...

Here is Devon and Vistara. Devon loves visiting Vistara because she has cats.

(Devon has a sign for cats, so he talks about them when they are around. He signs, then points, then signs, then points... it's sooooo amazing.)

It is nice to be able to capture exactly what I want, with exactly the right lighting, inside my own house.

I have also been holding professional sittings for private portraits.

ELECTION NEWS

As for election news, I have requested an American ABSENTEE BALLOT.

As of today (Friday, October 22, 2004) I have NOT recieved my ballott.

HOWEVER, I have received a letter from the Republican Party (yes, Bush's Party), asking if I would vote for THEIR candidate. It starts with... Dear Absentee Voter...

How come I haven't received my ballot, but I have received Republican propaganda?
As Hamlet put it, "Something is ROTTEN in the state of Denmark."
May peace and sanity prevail.
