August 2004

| Return to Oz...as RESIDENTS!! |
We
returned back in Western Australia on the 17th June and it is
great to be here permanently now.
It is SUCH a beautiful place to live in, really a piece of paradise
on Earth!

| They
say that wintertime is cold and rainy.
So they say.
They are wrong.
Winter is sunny too! At least it is here! |
| We have really been relaxing back
into our life here. I have been facilitating lots of “Designer
Journey Processes” for people throughout Western Australia.
To see what it is I do, please visit my website
It is beautifully designed by my husband too: www.journeytherapywa.com

| The delight that is Devon... |
Devon
is, as always, magnificent. I am looking forward to once again
getting an almost-full night’s sleep.
(Some time soon maybe!!!).
We bought him a "Jolly Jumper" and a baby walker on
our first day back in Australia.
He absoltuley ADORES being in his J.J. He jumps around and explores,
bounces and laughs, just like a little Peter Pan! |
He
is really growing into a real little boy.
He is crawling now and standing up by himself (if he has something
to balance on.)
|
He
is so adorable and eating lots of solids. Hmm, our little vegetarian
baby.
It is great to know that he
will never have meat in his little body, I like that idea.
(Unless he chooses to in later life, of course.) |

| GIFTS from our PAST SELVES |
Setting
up home.
We unpacked the first wave of wondrous items which we brought
back from our latest Round-The-World Trip... our suitcases. |
| Then
on the 19th July, our container arrived from Northern Ireland.
(The container full of our stuff
from the UK. It contained ALL the furniture, books, gifts, etc
that we had from our house in London back in 1999 … all
our stuff!!
(visit all the way back to the
start of it all, Nov 1999 - or read
about packing our stuff to ship from Northern Ireland: shipping
our stuff) |
IT
IS AWESOME!!
It is like every Christmas we have ever had together AGAIN!
As we open up new boxes and are reunited with all our amazing
items, we are grateful. |
In
fact what is so amazing is that we received lots of gifts from
our
“past selves,".
Things we never even used before have a PERFECT place here in
this house!
The divine at work! |
It
is winter here at the moment, but the weather has been wonderful.
The other day we sat out in the back garden in T-shirts, hung
out the laundry and chatted. |

Even our lizard friend showed up to say a blue tongued hello!
Yes, mom, I know... keep the baby away
from lizards... I know... |
The
weather here is very special (Another
great reason to live here!)
THANKS AUSTRALIA FOR WELCOMING US AND FOR LETTING US LIVE HERE!!!

| Special Thanks |
Thank
you Ed and Dorothy Clark who put
me (E.J.) through college to get a B.Sc. Art Ed. (Bachelor of
Science in Art Ed, k-18). With this qualification we met the criteria
to enter and live, work, own property here in Australia.
THANK YOU MOM AND DAD!!!
Also, special thanks to Steve
O'Neil at ISCAH Migration. Steve and the team there made
this 19 months smooth and SUCCESSFUL. If you are looking for information
regarding immigrating to Australia please visit his website ISCAH_Migration

| Our new life in Auz (Oz) |
About
10 days after our container full of stuff arrived we were still
getting organised, yet still finding time to relax and enjoy our
life!
Here is a picture of the very start of the jigsaw puzzle of Florence
that we bought there! |
We have been doing LOTS, including learning, playing, sunbathing,
and much more.

| Ten Days in Geraldton,
Western Australia |
Being
the adventurers that we are, we took a trip up North to Geraldton,
a quiet town 5 hours north of Perth on the coast.
We stayed at the Geraldton Bed & Breakfast. It was awesome,
so delightful, very beautiful and with such loving attention to
detail it made our stay there complete. To check them out for
yourself click here: Geraldton
B&B - www.geraldtonbedandbreakfast.com |
We
spent some time too out on an amazing 5000 acre farm.
A piece of paradise. |
We
took several beautiful walks along the shoreline and basked in the
beautiful winter sunshine. |
We
met a baby kangaroo too!
See all the photos from this ten day adventure... many more photos
of Devon and joey...

| Devon Learns Language |
As
we may have mentioned, we are teaching Devon to use Baby Signs
to communicate.
Small children can understand language before they have the dexterity
to form words with their little mouths and tongues. |
They
CAN and DO understand - as any parent will know.
|
Devon
has almost a dozen words that he can use.
Read more about Devon and his language
here: The Dawning
of Language
(This story includes one of the most mind-changing photographs
I have ever had the pleasure of taking. It involves a webcam and
Devon communicating across the globe..... you'll see....) |

| A Letter to Devon |
Dearest
Devon,
I love you so much Devon. It is truly an honour to be your mother
in this lifetime.
In every way you are my teacher. You teach me of joy, of expression,
of happiness.
You teach me of love, light and of forgiveness.
You teach me reflection, you are a reflection of who I am being
with you.
You truly are divine... Read

| A##es of
Evil - by Shawn Clark |
I
don't know if you heard, but there was a rather large protest
last Sunday in NYC. I was fortunate enough to be part of it and
it was a marvelous experience.
Did any of you go? I'd like to hear your take on it. Read the
rest of Shawn's take on it here: The
Asses of Evil (her title, not ours. We would call it The Tyrants
of Evil... :) ) |
