Baby Mai Dances on Video
13 March 03 - Chiang Mai, Thailand

Well, I would have to say the coolest thing I saw this month was our baby dancing.

We had our first ultrasound appointment and got to see what's happening inside!

Not only that, you can see too... here are TWO VIDEOS which you can see by clicking the links below.

((READ THIS FIRST: It could take up to 4 minutes to download a video! And, if a window opens which asks if you want to play the video 'IN THE BROWSER' click NO, otherwise the video may appear very small. Enjoy!))

Baby Mai Dancing shows the baby moving
(which is amazing)
or alternatively check out the video of

Baby Mai's Heartbeat
((with sound!))
You will have to have Windows Media Player to view the videos.

As you can see, we are delighted to have seen Baby Mai.

As Tila said, it became much more real now that we've seen what's happening inside.

Wow. Amazing. Excitement & Joy.

Goodbye Thailand
Chiang Mai, Thailand

We visited a few beautiful temples before we left the gorgeous city of Chiang Mai.

This place will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We will miss the dragons, and it was only fitting to say our farewells. As you can see, we had different approaches to that!

It is hard to get their attention sometimes.

This one was a particular favorite.

It's not often one gets to see this kind of view in a street-corner mirror.

And to find such a spectacular place of worship in the midst of the city is a common occurrence.

Yet somehow it never ceases to amase me.

You can see Lisa (Tila) in the foreground.

These Chedi's really are works of art as well as being places for meditation and enlightenment.

Our last meal was eaten in Tuk and Richard's house.

Tuk's restaurant closed and wasn't due to re-open until after we had gone, but lo-and-behold we still managed to get a bowl full of Mussaman Curry.

Hooray for TukTuk.

May her delicious, organic, and nutritious food forever be fed to the visitors of Chiang Mai.

Leaving Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai, Thailand

I have to admit, with Tila being pregnant and unable to lift anything, and the amount of bags we had to transport to the airport, I was a little apprehensive of making our way to the airport.

But we had a saviour! Dr Montri (our dentist) offered to take us to the airport. Hooray! This is Dr Montri with Tila, above.

Thanks to him, our trip began smoothly, and our smiles are brighter, whiter (and more complete.) :) Thanks Dr Montri!

From Malaysia to Singapore

Our flight took us through Bangkok and into Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). Our great friend Manmeet picked us up from the airport and drove us to Nirmaljit's home where we spent the night in comfort.

Manmeet picked us up the next morning and DROVE us to Singapore! Thanks Manmeet!

For those of you who may have fears about travelling in Asia, rest assured it is no more dangerous then your own home town.

Western Australia
20th of March 2003

It is always nice to be in WA (Western Austrlaia).

This is Nis. (As you may remember, he makes Lyres. Check out his beautiful instruments here)

He invited us to stay at his home along with his children and Pameo.

Pameo is a explorer of consciousness.

You can visit her HERE. She is part of a team called Stars Edge International whose mission is to create an enlightened planetary civilisation. Cool eh? Check it out.

An Engagement Party
22nd of March 2003

The second night we were here we were invited to a PARTY!

Ragini and Lawrence are engaged!

Lawrence and Ragini (right) are both very special people and it is great to see them join together in such a powerful partnership.

Part of the invitation to their party included a request.

You had to BRING a performance!

It was a very entertaining party with belly-dancers, guitar players, poetry readers musicians, and stand-up comedians.

Great idea!

To see more of the party CLICK HERE.

Tila, Danica and Simon were dressed up and ready to party!

Nice hair Simon!

As you can see, we had a spectacular time.

A Musical Memory - Nis's Party
20th of March 2003

Nis had an idea to create a party to celebrate live music and the Lyre.

His garden was full of candles and light... the air full of music.

While outside, the live music was spectacular (Tony-sax & Pranava-guitar).

We joined in of course, me on the bongo and Tila on the bells.

Safe and Sound
28th of March 2003

As for us, we are safe and sound in WA.

Think positive thoughts, pray for peace, and take care of yourself and eachother.

Namaste.
