Singapore Airport
E.J. leads a Seminar & Hot Chocolate at Clarke Quay |
| We
are sitting at the airport at Chiangi Airport,
Singapore, waiting for our flight to Kuala Lumpur.
We finished a seminar last night around 11.30pm and
took a leisurely midnight stroll down to Clark Quay.
I had a hot toffee chocolate drink and EJ took a latte.
A great supper of bagels and delightful conversation
with my husband tops off a very enjoyable few days here.
E.J.
has been public speaking and has been doing an amazing job.
Yesterday 25% of the people who came to the seminar
decided to enroll, great! E.J. is a very capable public
speaker and is getting more and more practice as we continue
to give seminars.
By the way, E.J. got speakers commission in 4 hours
what I alone made in a month at Thomsons! ...so there IS life after
jobs....
So now we are aboard the plane just about to take off so I have
to leave you for a while... All electronic equipment should be switched
OFF. Bye for a now. |

Business is Business... June
2001 |
| Our
company had Charles Nash, an expert
Day Trader, over from Canada, and we conducted the first "Day
Traders Boot Camp" in Johor Bahru (in Malaysia down near the
border with Singapore (see a map).
This is Charles and I in front of the Petronas Towers.
We went to Singapore (3 times) and East Malaysia and
Kuching where we had a great success with our seminars!
Gerry and Trevor were over for most of June and we
had a lot of fun with them too. |

Another Look at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia June
2001 |
Tonight we just had a wonderful meal
with Nirmaljit, Hartiff and the girls. They came over to ours and
EJ cooked an exquisite meal. It was a wonderful evening.
We have made some great friends and we know we will
know them for years and years to come - they are a wonderful family.
We met Nirmal through Money Mastery.
We have been taking lots of shots of KL to treat you
with. So come and look here: A
Different Look at Kuala Lumpur The
strange and colorful scenes of the Markets!
The
photograph here to the right is a picture of a beautiful fountain
down near the Colonial District in DownTown

Genting Highlands
The Gambling Mecca of KL June 2001 |
| When
Trevor Robert visited Malaysia with his father, we went to the Genting
Highlands, the only place gambling is legal (as of now) in
Malaysia.
If you are a local Muslim you are
refused entry. Gambling is illegal in a Muslim country but somehow
the Muslim Government turns a blind eye here.
Genting is up in the highlands, about 2 hours outside KL.
We had a limo drive us there and back, but for the entire day we
didn't manage to get any further than the amusement arcade...
that's what happens when you are entertaining 2
BOYS!
Experience a little of what we did here: Genting. |

|
| An Unexpected Visitor
arrived on our doorstep... |
| On the last night of Trevor and Gerry's
visit we stayed up late to fix Gerry's computer at their hotel.
When
we reached home around midnight we had a surprise guest...
Our dear friend Nirav
was waiting outside our apartment building.
He was hoping we would come home ....and we did.
What a wonderful surprise!
We had been unable to check our e-mail, to see if
he was coming, and viola - there he was.
It was a wonderful few days with him.
He has written a very useful Book on "One Word
Affirmations" or "Powerful Switch Words" book.
It is now 11.15pm and I am heading to bed. I hope
you enjoyed the update. Love and hugs from us in KL. |

Nirav, A Durian, and a New Taste Sensation
A note about the Durian |
| While Nirav was here, we managed to eat a Durian
or two. Find out more about the delicious Durian (that's
debatable, says Lisa) at Durian
Palace, or alternatively click
here... to read my own enlightened opinion. |
