I have been back home in Northern Ireland since the early hours of Tuesday morning. It is great to be home I'm getting well and truly pampered. I am taking this opportunity to update you a little from the diary.

We have had some great times here, we are really glad we came back to the UK.

Our Irish friends, Pauline and Jonathan and their sons Alexander and Charles and we went to Hopleys Garden Center for the annual shindig.

We got to meet up with our old neighbors too and even had drinks virtually in our old back garden. It was lovely to see everyone. AS YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, it was a spectacular night.

For a selection of photographs of the night look here: Hopleys ShinDig

E.J. and I also spent a couple of nights together on our own in London. We stayed in a VERY SMALL apartment in Hempstead and we could walk into London and did. We had a great time.

I fell down the stairs and am covered in bumps and bruises and I wasn't even drinking!

Well, what have I been up to you may ask. I am currently staying at Jon's, and am off in the morning to a BNI meeting in Solihull. The BNI is the Business Network International, and is, basically, a group of business people who get together once a week and network with each other.

They tell each other in 1 minute every week some aspect of their business, product or service and each week members think of people that might be interested in that service, or think of it for themselves. What a fantastic idea.

They have them all over the world, you will find one near you I'm sure. It's a great way to meet new business owners in your area and to let them get to know you and what you do. [And it's fun and social too and you pay £5.00 for a lovely breakfast!!!].

This works on the principle of 'if you pass business my way, I will do the same for you!'

Every meeting, each member gets to stand up and give a 60 second presentation on what their IDEAL customer would be, and ask everyone in the room if they know someone who fits their ideal.

The others, in turn do the same, and at the end, most everyone has a slip of paper in front of them with a lead. Wow.

What a way to make money. You can visit the BNI at www.bni.com Check it out.
