Well we have arrived back in the UK and are having a great time, visiting all our friends.

We arrived on Saturday 27th May having made a shopping stopover in Bali..... yes!!!!

We also touched down in Bangkok and Dubai and were on the plane for 27 hours...

Deep joy!

Then we went to Peterborough, Birmingham and London before boarding the plane to Northern Ireland.

Here you will be able to see some photographs of where my parents live and where I call HOME.

This is my Mum and Dad at our local restaurant "Charleys".

I also saw both my Granny's and my sister, brother-in-law and my little niece and nephew. You can see them all for yourself here:

Dunluce Castle & The White Rocks
The North Antrim Coast, Northern Ireland
June 2000

This is Dunluce Castle.

This is an amazing castle ruins perched on the cliff edge just between Bushmills and Portrush.

It is an impressive site to see.

Here you can see the "White Rocks" in the photograph with one of the most beautiful beaches in the world in the distance.

The White Rocks.

These 4 old guys were just sitting there on this park bench in Bushmills watching roadwork's!!

They were sitting there when we went for lunch in my cousins cafe "The Cooper Kettle" and when we came back from the Giant's Causeway they were still there, they hadn't moved in 3 hours!!!

We reckon that's a great meditation!

For your information, here's a Northern Ireland TRAVEL TIP:

If you see that the road-side [kerb] is painted Red, White and Blue, then you know you're in a Protestant Area. If the colors are Green, White and Gold you are in a Catholic Area... Amazing eh?

This is soda farl: Irish soda bread with bacon and eggs a real Ulster treat, made by my cousin's fair hands. We had a great time in Ireland and are due back again in late July.

They have a great cafe in Bushmills called "The Cooper Kettle"...if you want to taste tempting Irish Fare...it's a must..and it is of course on your way to the Giant's Causeway and the Bushmills Distillery!!

Tell him Lisa sent you!!

The Giant's Causeway
of Northern Ireland
June 2000

If you do not know what the Giant's Causeway is, you should take a look here at The Giant's Causeway.

Many people refer to it as the 8th Wonder of the World.

I just love the hexagonal stones said to have been the result of a fight between two GIANTS tossing rocks at each other. One is Scotland, the other in Ireland. The Giant's Causeway is the result...

It is my favorite place in the world to relax and be at peace, we spent many Sunday's there as children having picnics in, what we nicknamed, the "springy grass" ~ because of it's bouncing qualities!!

~ The Lake District ~ Bolton ~ Oxford ~ Hertfordshire ~ Fun times with friends.
June 2000

We came back to England, spent some time with my brother Russell and his girlfriend Natasha in Kendal, at the Lake District.

Then we spent time with my good friend Elaine, the girl I traveled around the world with 11 years ago, and her husband John in Bolton near Manchester.

Then we had a great party at Duncan and Helen's in Oxford

We are now staying and having a ball with our friends Noelle and Derek in Bishops Stortford.
