An American Celebration
July 4th 2002 |
| |
| The Fourth is always a great celebration
in Glenside.
This year we had quite a party. Memom and Poppy (below, top) and Nana
(bottom, left) came over, and we spent the day eating, eating and eating.
There's my dad, also eating, below right. |

| There is always a Parade |
| |

The Cassidy Dancers always play a find part in the proceedings.
The Timoney Dancers always add the Irish flair, and were spectacular
as always. |

Here I am with Mr Timoney. There's always a Parade on the 4th.
We went to visit my friend, Owen Timoney, at his house.
The parade passes directly in front of the Timoney house, so we all congregated
along the front lawn and watched the show. |

Here's Shawn, my sister, and Chris, her boyfriend. |

It was over 100 degrees F, and it was hot walking along the black-top.
The local residents got their sprinklers out and let the walkers cool
themselves along the way... |
 |
I
am not sure I would like to be carrying the flag 5 miles in this kind
of heat. Go guys!!!
