Ah well... we'll catch him on his run down the river.

 In
the meantime, we just hung out and watched the races. |

Uncle Tom and Amanda had fun with Devon, as you can see. |

We knew coach must be coming soon as the 25 year boat passed us.
|
|
That's Coach hanging out there in the back of the boat. His role is to keep the oarsmen rowing in time, and on course. |

 |
|
 It
was the one thing we came to see, and we were delighted that it happened
so soon after we arrived. |

On our way to the Dad Vails with Uncle Tom and Amanda we stopped
off and had some breakfast at a diner.
Just as we arrived we saw Coach onboard a boat headed up-river to
join the crew of the boat he was the coxswain for.
And
lo and behold a few minutes later we were right.
As
they rode away we picked ourselves up and strolled the length of
the river to our car.
