Shawn-Aileen Clark organized a
“WELCOME HOME & WELCOME DEVON PARTY."

One of great things about E.J.’s family is the fact that everyone is always so inspired about life and the things in it.

It’s a fun family to be a part of ! (with or without hats)

Nana, turning 100 this year (2004)So, as anticipated, EVERYONE turns up with a hat!
Even Nana, who will be turning 100 this August, wore one! (Note: Actually, Nana forgot hers and had to wear one of her granddaughters [E.J.’s Mum], and was most annoyed. She had a special one she wanted to wear at the party and had forgotten all about it. She is SO AWESOME a real inspiration.)

Then there comes the next generation down...

In this photos is Memom (daughter of Nana)

(They have a cool silver PT Cruiser, so the Driving hats are practical too!)

Here is Poppy, husband of Memom, Great Grandfather to Devon and Grandfather to E.J.
(He and Memom are a lot of fun and serve DELICIOUS food at Thanksgiving and other holidays!)

(E.J. spent a lot of time with them as a child, he loved hanging out with them).

Then the next generation.

Mom Clark and Aunt Pat (photo below).

They are the two daughters of Memom.

DIG THE HAT!!!

Aunt Pat's husband, George, and their three children Brian, Amy and Brad are also at the party! This is Aunt Pattie meeting Devon for the first time.

Amy and Brad both got married this year to their beloved's: (who were also there).

E.J. and I were there, as well as E.J's younger Sister (shown here with her partner Chris), and their younger brother Tom (shown below with his partner Amanda).
Hats, Hats, Hats

Nice hats!

And Devon. (Resting here in Dad's arms.)

We all know each other well and like each others company. The party was a LOT of fun.

Devon, unfortunately, was under the weather, with a cold and he was in the process of giving it to the entire family (little did we know at the time!)

Alex, Lisa & Shawn in GlensideAlex was there, (here we are with him in his back garden).

Alex now lives almost directly opposite in the house which E.J. grew up in, he is E.J.'s Mum's cousin and is a very spiritual, knowledgeable and fun human being!
(E.J. goes over to Alex's every time he is home and sits up in "his tree" in the back garden).
THEN of course there were the friends:
Marilou and Mr. Mac (great company, always upbeat and fun to be around)
Ginger and Charlie (they just got married this year as well - congratulations!)
Beth & Diana (fabulous!),
Mr. and Mrs. Gries (Devon says thanks for the rabbit ears for Easter),
Jamie McNutt (one of E.J.’s oldest friends), & Owen Timoney (another old and dear friend).

The party was so much fun!

The food was delicious, thanks to Mum & Dad for providing the venue, and for Shawn & Chris for selecting and managing it! (Yummmmy food!!! and all vegetarian!!!).

Everyone had a lot of fun catching up and meeting Devon.

He is a much loved and popular little boy!

(Nice ears Mrs Gries!)

And below we have the family portrait.
Five generations of parents and children together.

Life truly is amazing, isn't it?

Five Generations
From Left to Right: Brian, Brad, Jamie, George, Aunt Pat, Amy, Memom, Uncle George, Nana (with Devon), Dottie, Poppy, Ed, E.j, Lisa, Alex, Shawn, Chris, Amanda and Tom.

It was wonderful.

Note: The man at the top right of this photograph (with the white hat) is Alex, he is Nana's daughter Esther's oldest child.
In other words he is Mom Clark's cousin.
