I see a city where everyone knows how unique, and how spectacular, they really are.

What do I see when I think of New York?

THIS is what I see...

I see the Empire State.

I see the unbelievable desire and determination it takes not only to build a city this size, but to stay in it and make it your own.

I see the Brooklyn Bridge at night.

I hear the constant thumping of cars on the bridge overhead.

I see the lights.

The soul of this city is not locked within tons of concrete!

It is free for all to see.

I remember watching as New York moved breathed below me.

Oh yes, I remember.

I remember it well.

There was nothing as inspiring to behold.

I saw it stand.

I saw it fall.

I saw it rise up.

In the fire fighters, the police, the emergency workers.

I see it now.
