First impressions? It was FAST!

The racers would literally fly by, and within a second be gone around the next bend. |

(Either that or too much beer.)

It was great to have it right here on our doorstep. |

The bikes were so fast I think he couldn't comprehend where the sounds were coming from and that frightened him. |

a few dozen photographs with nothing but blank street and grass
(man those bikes are fast!) |

This was the first time I ever visited a professional motorcycle
race.
You could HEAR them coming from a mile off and before you knew it
they were here and gone.
These guys obviously had a long ride to get here and missed their
nights sleep.
There
were thousands of spectators lining the roads. Visitors from all
of europe flock to the Northwest 200 for the day.
We
didn't stay too long as Devon wasn't keen on the ZZZZOOOOOMMMM'S
coming and going. 
We visited the circuit twice that day, the second time leaving Devon
at home.
It gave me an opportunity to practice my high-speed photography.
