Wat Phra That Hariphunchai
 
This wat [thai word for temple] was built on the site of Queen Chama Thewi's Palace in 1044.

 

 

Chedi Suwan, is 46 metres high and is surmounted by a nine-tiered umbrella made of pure gold.
It has a very impressive collection of Thai ornamentation, as you can see.
