| The CN Tower and the Sky Dome, Toronto |
| |
|
Tom
(E.J.'s Brother), Amanda, James and Tom
arrived in a car from Philadelphia.
They had come to see TORONTO.
Of course, the CN Tower was on the list.
We thought it would be nice to do it in style
and eat at Restaurant 360, the revolving
restaurant at the top! |
So
we all headed to Downtown Toronto.
We took the private elevator all the way to the top.
The service at the restaurant was exceptional, they are really courteous
and very friendly.
Here I am with Amanda. |
Seated
in such beauiful surroundings, it was easy to notice how the restaurant
paid alot of attention to detail.
The view was breathtaking as we began the revolution. |
We
found ourselves overlooking the city itself, with the exquisitely traditional
YORK HOTEL sticking out from between all the modern skyscrapers.
The restaurant slowly moved around and we got to see Toronto from 360degrees!
The experience was so delightful we give it a clear
and grateful Globaltickit Recommendation!!
The company was great...Tom and Amanda, Tom, James, Jessica
and Gary. We had a great afternoon. A five-star treat!! |

| The CN Tower Viewing Deck |
| After our leisurely 2 and a half hour lunch
we were ushered down to the "viewing deck" where everyone else
was mingling, viewing Toronto from above.
There
was the famous "glass floor" where you can stand and look down
to the ground, hundreds of feet below.
I got a little freaked out with it, and had to get my mind to get "off
it".
It took me a short while to even be able to stand on it... it was a long,
long way down. It was quite a wierd experience.
As
you can see the others were not suffering in the same way...see James
and Tom doing pushups on there!!
We wandered around the centre they have at the bottom, played with all
the gadgets and hung out with some moose! |

| The SkyDome - Home of the Toronto Bluejays |
We
had seen the SkyDome, where the Toronto
BlueJay's play [baseball].
Here's a view of it from the CN Tower and
it looked impressive from there, it was even better from inside.
Yet again we wanted to do things a little different from the norm so
we went into the Renniasaince Hotel attached to the stadium and had drinks
in the bar which overlooked the field.
A
spectacular site.
We watched the local adult league playing baseball, and just as we were
leaving the flood lights shut off and we were able to see it in utter
darkness. Fascinating
We headed back up to Stouffville, headed for the Elvis
Fest ...
Visit the Elvis Fest, in
Stouffville...
Yes it's a Festival of Elvis lovers and
impersonators. |
