What a wonderful year it has been being Devon's Mum. He really is such a lovely little boy and is a real advert for having a few more.

The preparation for his birthday started in August. I gathered up presents from all over Fremantle.

On the night of the 8th October when Devon went to sleep Vibodha and I gathered up the pressies from their hiding places & displayed them all around the playroom.It was covered in balloons and streamers we had a big golden banner which s“Happy Birthday Devon”.

It reminded me of those great family Christmas' growing up as a child.

Such fun! Now I know how exciting it was to prepare Christmas for us as children!!!

We were so excited to see how Devon would react to all this toys. We guided him to his playroom!

It was so great to watch. He looked at the toy that was the closest to him and played with it for a while before moving on to the next one.

He only finished playing with them after 1 hour!!

He was ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED!!

Vistara and Vibodha baked his cake and at 11am his party celebration began.

We had about 25 people in the house including 10 children.

It was a lot of fun.

Vibodha took photos for everyone as a fun gift.

Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate Devon being 1 year on the planet!

Thanks for all the love and for all the pressies sent from afar too!!

Devon you truly are a gift to me in every way in every day.

You are a very special little boy and I love you very much.
