Letter to Devon - 31 Aug 2004

Dearest Devon,

I love you so much Devon. It is truly an honour to be your mother in this lifetime.

In every way you are my teacher. You teach me of joy, of expression, of happiness. You teach me of love, light and of forgiveness. You teach me reflection, you are a reflection of who I am being with you. You truly are divine.

I thank you for coming into our lives and I am inspired to walk with you on your journey through life.

Life can be anything, anything is possible in life...you have many joyous and delightful treats in store.

Our planet is a beautiful place.

She is sacred. The fact that we are even here on this Earth is miraculous.

Being aware of ourselves is what makes us different from the animals. Our consciousness sets us apart.

Then there are levels of awareness too Devon.

Your father and I are on our Journey in life too.

We will share many stories of our life with you, tales of when we first met, what life was like before Devon...do you know I affectionately term it LBD (Life Before Devon).

We are great adventurers, your Dad and me. Y

ou will know it, already you do.

At 10 months you have already travelled around our small planet.

You have visited 6 counties and 3 continents.

I know you love it, what's not to love eh? (Your Nana, who was just 100 years old last week, said that to you about bananas..."what's not to like!").

At the moment you are sleeping.

It is a Saturday afternoon. You look so beautiful in your cradle that I just took some video of you, so in the future you can see yourself at this time that I am writing to you.

I LOVE my life Devon, I LOVE your dad VERY MUCH...HE ROCKS!!

You have the MOST amazing Dad ever, you really do!

We are very happy and made the decision to move to Perth, because, basically we fell in love with it.

I am sure you will love it too.

I am going to go and hang out some more with your Dad now, before you awaken.

I love you.

Thank you, my angel, for being you!
