It was an awesome sight down there sitting on the huge rocks with the waves splashing so close beside us.

I was reminded of the times as a child being in Portstewart, County Antrim, Northern Ireland watching the waves come pounding in over the harbour wall and screaming with delight!

It was quite scary at first when I thought I was going to be hit and I wanted to run away.

E.J. said, “you’ll be fine, just stay.”

I did and had great fun!

He ventured out onto the bigger rocks while baby and I collected shells and crystal stones.

>> Vibodha: "Where did I go? I climbed to the top of the rock.

This is a photo from the top, three chasm's back from the sea.

If you compare it to the whole rock (first photo above) you will see where I was.

It was unbelievable.

It was like riding a whale.

Then, of course we had to walk back up.

The car park is just behind those two big rocks.

And all that was summed up by the sign above.

Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park, Western Australia

And finally, we leave you with the classic Margaret River photograph, the white waves.
